Blogging Blogs
I love reading blogs. There are so many great ideas out there in the world. I figure I might have to try a few of the ideas and blog about what worked for me. Some days I might blog about what is just going on with me. Isn't that what blogs are really about? I enjoy the blogs I read and I hope you do too!

Cleaning out my car .....
I really need to clean out my car! Does anyone have a method that works for them?
This mom mobile is full of everything! I have trash including empty water bottles, school paper (school was out in May), more paper, origami made from paper, food wrappers, Legos, books, and I don't want to know what else.
As I was moving things around the center console of the mom-mobile I noticed that one of the cupholders was full of liquid. GROSS GROSS GROSS Who knows how long it had been sitting there.
Looking around for something to soak up the liquid-surprisingly I did not have any napkins or paper towels. But I did have my window cloth from Norwex. Now this isn't meant to sound like a sales pitch-but that cloth really does work! It's soaked up all of the liquid. I tried to take a video so I poured more liquid into the cupholder. That window cloth soaked up all of that liquid too. I wasn't happy with the video so I needed to reshoot it. So I added some soda to the cupholder. Guess what? That window cloth soaked up that liquid too! Three cupholders full of liquid! I bet you could soak up more liquid if I tried. I might have to do an experiment with that.
I definitely need to take this window cloth inside to rinse out with hot water. Once it hangs up to dry it's ready to go again. I will definitely keep this in my car for spills and messes.

Raw Foods on Kitchen Counter
Do you ever put down a cutting board to season your meats? Or do you season them in the package they came in? Either way, I always wipe the counter where the meat had been sitting. Until recently, I would clean the counter with whatever spray cleaner was under my kitchen sink using a paper towel (or 3).
I found this video of a Norwex Consultant cleaning the counter using black light powder to show where the raw chicken had been. Enviro Cloth vs. Chemical Wipe
How crazy is that?
Imagine how clean your house could be without using all of the chemicals.
Here is the video from Norwex on how the Microfibers in the Enviro Cloth work

Superior Mop Collection on new hardwood floors
Here are photos of my son and my dad cleaning off brand new wood floor. My parents had to get new floors in their house. After all of the construction in the house you can imagine that it was a bit dusty. My dad wanted to get the floors cleaned before the movers came with the furniture the next day. My dad started cleaning with a dry mop he got at the grocery store. In general it does a good job. But it didn't pick up everything!
The Superior Dry Mop Pad is also great for collecting hair, dirt, and dust in busier homes.
The kit contains:
Here is the dirt collected AFTER using the mop from the grocery store.
The Mop Base just sits on the pad - it was so easy to use.
The floors didn't need the wet pad - there was nothing sticky to be cleaned. Just dust. It is nice to be able to shake off the dust and use the Mop Pad again and again. If it gets really dirty, it can be washed in the sink or in the washing machine.A large floor system that is ideal for larger homes.
I might get the Superior Mini Mop System to use in my kitchen - and use the bigger mop in the rest of my house.

The kit contains:
- (1) Telescopic Mop Handle: Adjustable: 98 cm – 160 cm / 38.58" – 62.99"
- (1) Large Mop Base: 40 cm x 8 cm / 15.75" x 3.15"
- (1) Large Superior Dry Mop Pad: 52 cm x 15 cm / 20.47" x 5.91"

A real mom's opinion of Norwex
So if you are like me, then you search all over the internet to try and find information on something you might buy or something to help you be successful in life.
As I was searching for more information on Norwex, I came across this video. She says she is a real mom - and is not a Norwex Consultant. She bought the products that she thought would work for her in her house. And they worked for her - with no chemicals!
Some of the products she tested:
Superior Mop Collection
Rubber Brush to clean the dirty mop - I wasn't going to get this - but after watching her video, I'm adding it to my shopping cart.
Kitchen Cloth - This comes in 6 different colors.
My Norwex Kit came!
So I signed up on Monday - and my kit came TUESDAY!
It shipped from Ft. Worth, which is 45 minutes from my house- Love that!
I've joined several other direct marketing companies - what can I say? I'm a sucker for a good deal with the kit. I have the best of intentions to make an actual go out of the businesses, but you can only ask your friends and family so many times to buy something you are selling.
I joined Norwex for the kit. Period. End of Story.
Norwex has done a great job of having the right product and a FANTASTIC job with the materials to start your business off right. There are 3 - yes THREE - envelopes to help you succeed. I glanced at them yesterday - and if I knew nothing about the products I would feel comfortable introducing others to these products. Other direct marketing companies want you to have phone calls and watch video demonstrations - Norwex does want that - but if you as a consultant don't want that, then the kit has it all!
I gave my dad one of the Enviro Cloths out of the kit for him to try at home.
This four and a half minute video about the Enviro Cloth demonstrates how to use it to remove greasy grime from a surface. She uses butter on a window.

Hello? Is anyone out there?
This is just not a blog I keep up with. Should I start another one?
Do people still read blogs? Post a comment about your favorite blog and I'll do a giveaway when I reach 30 comments!
So while I'm thinking about what to write for this blog post, I'm thinking about baking a banana bread in my Instant Pot too. It only takes 5-10 minutes (depending on distractions) to mix the ingredients - and then 55 minutes to cook with with a natural pressure release (NPR or NR - in Instant Pot Terms). Yes... It might take a few more minutes than using the oven, BUT..... I don't have to worry about the oven being on if I need to leave the house. Or even have the hot oven going with it will reach 100 today in Texas!
.....I made this recipe on Sunday with Truvia instead of Sugar. It tasted pretty good. Today I used sugar - but only a cup vs. the 1.5 cups in the recipe. Banana Bread for the win.....
Thank you to Facebook's Instant Pot Community for all of the awesome ideas to use with my Instant Pot!
I know I search my friend Dr./Mr./Ms. Google for information. There are many blogs I read - and will post to Pinterest. Some I go back and read for the directions or information I pinned. Others I just leave in the bottomless pit of Pinterest.
Oh Pinterest - you are so wonderful. I can always find what I am looking for when I check with you. And then I get lost in your vast array of information. I know I need to clean up my boards. My kids are 9 and 12 now - so the toddler boards can be passed on to someone else. I know I posted a Dr. Seuss quote and it has been pinned 7.9 THOUSAND times. That is crazy! Time to focus on the environment people!
To help clean up the environment, I decided to join Norwex. I am excited to use products where I don't have to be spraying cleaners and bleach which aren't good for the environment. Here is a link to my first party if you are interested in ordering anything. I'm excited for the Veggie & Fruit Scrub Cloth and the Enviro Cloth. I saw a post where a woman used yellow Enviro Cloths for her bathroom. Keep all of the same color together so you aren't cleaning the kitchen sink with the cloth for the toilet! Send me a message if you have questions. I'm new to the game - but this company has been around for a while in Europe.
